Well, it’s the beginning of the week. A good time (as is any!) to start re-decorating and organizing.
Today I wanted to talk about bookshelves…. I think sometimes it’s hard to decorate them. One piece of advice I give is if you can stick with one or two colors for objects and/or books (keeping in mind you can incorporate different shades of those colors), you can then tie together everything to make it look cohesive.
Take for example this first picture, designed by Emily Henderson. I like how she used blue–2 shades of blue with white and gold to decorate this space. It brings cohesion to the space without being too bold.
Which of these pics is your fav?

CURATED COLLECTION GOING ON SALE FOR ARCADIAN HOME STARTING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5!!!
A “natural” way to decorate a bookshelf. I love the use of baskets here and the use of shades of cream and white for books to tie everything together.
If you have a ton of books, this is a fantastic way to fill your shelves! Love the rainbow hue effect!
