I’m skipping Tablescape Tuesday to show you final photos of the family room I started back in December!
This was for a lovely retired couple who enjoyed hosting many family gatherings and needed a major overall. I wanted to lighten and brighten the space, especially since they had beautiful french doors leading out to the patio and high ceilings.
What we did:
-Painted entire brick wall white
-Kept the great sectional and chair and had them re-upholstered (bye bye, plaid!)
-Took down the outdated lattice wallpaper
-Painted the room Benjamin Moore’s AC-31, Hot Spring Stones.
-Painted the original dark green ceiling beams
-Hung drapes from the top of the walls
-Created a modern wall gallery of family photos
-Added more pattern and pops of color with pillows & accessories
