It’s that time of year to be extra generous. Whether it’s tipping your trash person or donating to Toys For Tots, every generous effort is worth it’s weight in gold.
We happen to live in one of the wealthiest counties in the country, yet there are STILL MANY families in need of food in close by neighborhoods. It’s hard to believe, but there are children who don’t know when their next meal will be. My family typically donates both food and money directly to our church. I’m also having my girls pick out toys this year that will be given to those less fortunate.
Below are local charities as well as info from GiveWell. org which lists top charities you may consider donating to.
