As you know, I’ve been working on decorating in my own home..namely my master bedroom, but I’m sure as many of you also know, decorating can easily snowball into other rooms that simply “aren’t done.” Enter my dining room! I still don’t have any window coverings and I’ve lived here 3 years. I couldn’t determine what I wanted, but I think this week I finally have!
All of my house is in neutral, solid colors–whites, grays and taupe. I like upholstery to be solid then add in patterned pillows which I can easily change out.
My dining room needs some “oomph” to it, and I recently came across David Hicks’ La Fiorentina fabric. Designer pricing of course.
I did a little research and found a look-alike fabric and am thrilled since it is so much more affordable.
Take a look at these beautiful photos of interiors using the David Hicks fabric.
And, here’s an image of my look-alike, I found at Calico Corners.
What do you think about me using for drapes?
