A Gorgeous San Francisco City Home Perched on the 60th Floor

Today I wanted to share with you a gorgeous space designed by Bay Area interior designer David Oldroyd.

This gorgeous South of Market penthouse (60th floor!) luxury hi-rise building has breathtaking views from its terrace.

Take a look at these gorgeous photos!

The custom breakfast table is teak with a lacquered metal base. The pendant light is by John Pomp Studios. The 1960s-era chairs are by Danish designer Johannes Andersen.

In the dining room, a Dale Chihuly sculpture hangs above the custom-carved walnut dining table. Classic 1959 dining chairs by Ole Wanscher are upholstered in textured Calvin Fabrics. At left is the living room. The floor is Flavigny limestone.

n the bedroom, a 1950s Italian alabaster lamp stands on a wall-mounted lacquered side table by Oldroyd.

In the low-key kitchen, midcentury teak barstools with rosewood footrests are by Erik Buch. I

Designer David Oldroyd set all walls at an angle to enliven the space.

Custom-made sofas and a low table are made of glass fiber–reinforced concrete.

On the 60th-floor terrace, with views over the bay to the east and the piers of Mission Bay below, Oldroyd created a practical, weatherproof composition with a quartet of aluminum Brown Jordan chairs surrounding a Brown Jordan metal table.
