I just a little styling session using my jewels and perfume and wanted to show you how just a few items that you already own-- strategically placed--can do wonders for your nightstand or dresser! Tips When styling, use varying heights to add interest; group "like" items with "like" items.. i.e. keep jewels together. You'll notice I used shiny objects as well as matte objects to play off each other.
I found the tiara in my closet--had forgotten I even owned it!
What do you think?
If you'd like to see more of these styling tips , please comment and let me know. I'll also be posting to Instagram.
So happy to share with you today a little summer entertaining inspiration!
I pulled some of my older photos of table settings I put together and wanted to share. Tulips and peonies are everywhere (and if you haven't been on Instagram you can find MILLIONS of photos of flowers) They are also inexpensive flowers to buy at the store.
I used West Elm dishes, napkins and placemats in the first photo.
The other photos show items I already owned.
How do you decorate your table for summer? Post it to JWS Interiors Facebook page!
Hope your week is going well! Today I wanted to share with you a great gallery wall. We've all seen gallery walls done a million ways, but this one caught my eye because it wasn't all black and white and the pops of color from the painting--paired with the gorgeous green lamp shades--was very well done!
I'm thinking navy with blue may be the next thing I want to do! (no pun intended!)

PS -I'm trying doing posts in a larger font. What do you think? Better? Worse?
Today I wanted to share some gorgeous photos of killer entrances.
The entrance to your home is really the same as your entrance to a party--first impressions are everything!
So, why not knock it out of the park and add something bold to your home?
If you rent, you can do this a number of ways--
-Bold patterned or colored ottoman or settee (depending on how much space you have)
-Take down your current light fixture (save it) and trick out your entrance with a glam one (then when you move, put the old light back up!)
Other ways to create a bold and memorable foyer is with a graphic rug, or perhaps do all white and then incorporate a bright lamp--red, orange or cobalt . Add a vase of the same hue of flowers and voila, you've got yourself a fashionable entrance!
Which is your fav of the photos shared today?
