Making an Entrance: Different Styles Using a Round Table

I don't know about you, but I'm in full decorating mode over here--not just with my clients as always, but with my home.

By tonight I have to decide on what color to do my steps! Black and white? Black? Just white?

In any case, I'm also contemplating switching up the look of my foyer.. It's not large, but not small either and I have a little nook by my stairs that's really narrow, so I'm trying to decide if I should just make a statement and put a white lacquer ROUND table by this nook.. I'll be moving it around tonight and then will show you on another post as I figure things out... which leads to today's post... The round table..

I love a round table in an entrance. There's something very inviting about it. Check out these entrances.. all beautiful in their own way.

Which is your fav?

Sophisticated, yet simple
Simple is striking in this white-paneled entry, outfitted with just a round table and plush rug. - Traditional Home ® / Photo: Lucas Allen / Design: Andrew Howard

Dark wood furniture seems to be the consensus for iron staircase!!

A quirky animal-hooved bench stands guard in a bright white entry hall. Green foliage dresses every corner of the adjoining rooms.

Pretty table but... I love the idea of a banquette in a large entry way!
