Pinterest Favs!

Hi Everyone,
Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is starting off well. Today is all about Pinterest.

If you haven't been on my Pinterest page lately, I've been pinning away!

I was also just looking at some of my are the top 3 boards that have been re-pinned the most:

And, here are some of my new pins that I'm in love with. Which is your fav?

Weekend Photos of Miami

I'm back from South Beach!

Boy, though, what a FANTASTIC trip with some girlfriends!  B and S--you were so much fun!
It was a great relaxing trip.

Here is my takeaway from the trip:
The Delano is my all-time favorite hotel and pool area to people watch
The SLS was wonderful to grab a nice lunch or dinner.
The W Hotel was a great spot for after dinner drinks and fun
The Gale South Beach, our hotel, was nothing short of fabulous! I highly recommend it. It had everything we needed and more.
Juvia, a rooftop restaurant, was well worth the price tag and advance reservations! The atmosphere and sky-high views were outstanding

Off to Miami!

By the time you read this, I will hopefully be at the pool or on the beach in South Beach.

I've been looking forward to celebrating a best friend's birthday for this trip and it's finally here.

Of course, the trip gave me a reason to shop, shop , shop..

And I sat on my suitcase so that it would fully close. There's nothing worse than standing over your suitcase and thinking you wish you brought more clothes to choose from.

Here's a pretty pool pic in Miami I wanted to share.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.  I'll be posting Monday, if not weekend pics!

TableScape Thursday!

Hi Everyone!

I am going to try and start some regular features here on Affordable Luxury and was thinking TableScape Thursday might be a good starting place!

I'm on a kick for all things inspiring for tabletop design as summer approaches!

Brides-to-be are in the final process of determining flowers, centerpieces and more to adorn their special fete.

I came across these beautiful photos and wanted to share with you. Which is your favorite?

A Bedroom Reveal!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you had a great weekend!

I'm excited to share with you a bedroom project I just completed for a family of four.

They asked me to decorate this basement bedroom so that when company comes, everything looks pulled together.

We wanted it to be casual and comfortable, yet still stylish.   I love the oars we found at the last minute to put over the headboard! What a find!

Accessories were sourced from HomeGoods and Target. The bed is from Nate Berkus' HSN line.

What do you think?

Restoration Hardware's New Baby & Child Collection/My Fav Picks

I love Restoration Hardware, so I was excited when I just received an email about the latest collection for its Baby & Child Line.
I've put together a board with my fav picks, but there was so much to choose from.

I love the Camden rug--think it would go great in a Family Room!  I also adore the butterfly watercolor art.
You don't have to use in a kid's space!

On the Hunt--WOW Yellow Dresses!

I'm going to Miami in one week and am looking for one final YELLOW dress to pack in my suitcase for my girls trip.

I found this dress (1st pic)  and fell in love..but not with the price. So, I'm on the hunt for something similar.

Here are some of the dresses I'm coveting.

Is there one calling you?

Using Pops of Color

Happy Tuesday friends!

I found myself craving some bright colors after a rainy day here in Virginia, so today we have it!
Check out how these designers or homeowners using bright pops of color to enhance their homes.

I have been called "the neutral queen" when it comes to decorating; however, I find myself wanting to infuse ONE bright color here and there throughout a home. I'm not sure I'm up to infusing all the colors featured below, but I have to say they are really pretty.

Which is your fav?

Happy Monday! I hope you had a fun weekend!
I was so glad to have time to relax this weekend as well as get a ton done around my house.
I feel lucky to have a husband who understands my need for entertaining (it's in my genes) and lets me do as I wish. :)

On that same vein of doing things around the house, accessorizing has been one of them on my list. As you already know, accessories can add that final touch to a room.

Here are some great examples of accessorizing.

What is your fav photo? How do you add that final touch to your room(s)?
