If you live in the U.S., chances are you live somewhere near a Target.
And, if you don't, you may wish you did (but there's always online shopping!)
I LOVE Target. I have found some great stuff for my home and my clients' homes both in-store and online.
I was online last night searching for a few things for a client and came across these bohemian finds--Look at that side table!
What do you think?
For color and a boho look:
Always in love with beautiful neutral colors, I've found new paint samples that I love. Haven't used yet, but wanted to share with all you lovers out there!
Here they are!
A few pics too of gorgeous rooms with slate & taupe walls. LOVE!

A really good mojito is my favorite drink!
We are entertaining this weekend and I came across this recipe from Southern Living.
Check it out!
Happy Friday everyone!
It's been a hectic but fun week here at JWS Interiors!
First a quick shout out to my fantastic (seriously) clients! I am so lucky to have great clients--so much so that many of you have become friends.
I've been on the search for a starburst mirror that won't break the bank. Yes, I know these pretty mirrors are just about everywhere..but I think they are classic..no matter what finish.
On that note, I found this one at my local Home Depot for an amazing $35. It comes in gold, but it would be SUPER EASY to just spray paint in white or silver, or any color you want. It's not too big or too small at 30" in diameter. Perfect for on the wall over a bed.
That's my "find" for the day.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Finally, since this post is titled "this & that", I'm re-posting my Nautical
Inspiration Board with Z Gallerie items!
I've never decorated a room with kelly green. I've used some smaller accessories such as moss balls in a bowl, but nothing bold--bright walls or upholstery.
THEN, I came across these rooms and fell in love with this color. It is so fresh, modern and so many colors can complement it.
My favorite is this first picture, a design by Tilton Fenwick. The room is so interesting. I love the bright pop of purple against the green sofas.

I'm writing this late at night for Wednesday's post .
I was thinking as I sit alone in my office about how busy the days are, packed in with so many fun and sometimes not-so-fun activities.
I met with a new client this morning...a fantastic couple that I am excited to work with and their new home.
Checked my emails and made a few calls that are a normal part of my routine.
My daughters played outside with friends almost the entire day...catching frogs in the backyard and hanging out with neighbors on our deck..
Then, to cap off the night, one of our babysitters sent these two fun photos of my girls and I just LOVE them. She captured the essence of being a child.
So, in a sentimental post, I have these photos for today. After all, it is my family that inspires me to aim high in all that I do and to be thankful for all that we have.

A lot going on around here!
I'm in organization mood in my own home. I finally got it together and used Container Store baskets to organize my laundry room.
Then, I started looking for more ideas and came across these awesome laundry spaces.

Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend.
I've been working on a small sun room project and I'm very excited as the pieces below have been ordered or already arrived.
My client wanted a beautiful, neutral & natural looking sun room, so here's what we came up with up. We are using a variety of materials--bamboo shades underneath linen drapes, wood lamp, natural wood side table, fuzzy/comfy rug!
The killer lamp I snagged off OneKingsLane for $88!
What do you all think?
I don't write about fashion too often, but the obvious latest craze for fashion accessories is an iPhone case.
I've gotten a billion emails from J Crew, Tory Burch, and more on their latest designs.
I found some cases I love. I have just a plain black one, but it's got me thinking I could jazz things up a little in the cell department! :)
Check them out!

A few interiors really caught me eye!
Wanted to share this evening a few of my favorites from Zinc Door.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this online merchant! I've used for several clients and have been so pleased with the pieces.
Here are a few of my favorites. What are yours?
Bennett Console (Just used in a client project-LOVE)
We've all seen this gorgeous chandelier in glossy magazines, but hey, it's still a fav of mine
I adore this settee for a dining room or even better a larger foyer
KILLER END TABLE. Enough said!
Love these accessories!
So for those of you who follow me, you know by now, I typically like calm, neutral colors. Tans, grays, whites, creams and throw in bits of color here and there.
So when I came across several lavender rooms I loved, it has me re-thinking how I want to decorate my master bedroom.
I've only designed one room in lavender. It was a tween girl's bedroom. You can see the before and after here.
Here are some photos to inspire you. I love how the light fills these rooms and the lavender is just divine!
Love this serene room by Sarah Richardson. CALM!
Love the use of a deeper purple with the tan/brown accents. By Emily Henderson
