London Bound... Where To Go?

I am so excited to share with you that I'm heading to London in January--it will be my first visit!

I've started to scour the web for the best places to stay, shop, and eat.

One of my favorite blogs  {this is glamorous] has an entire host of travel guides around the world. You have to check it out for your next trip or just to read for day-dreaming.

One click to that blog and I found a bunch of cool places I'm adding to my MUST-SEE list.

Hotel is booked. I'm staying at St. Martin's Lane and am super psyched.

Below are pics of this uber chic hotel.

Please share your LONDON  tips/places to see/eat/etc ! I'd love to hear from you!

Just got back from London. On your first visit, you have to do the tourist thing and hop on one of the bus tours and ride it around to see the main sites. They are hop-on hop-off so you can get off when you want to see a site longer (like Buckingham Palace or the London Eye). You could take up a full day doing that so pick a decent weather day. Dress warmly! It's cold! Spend a couple of hours on Oxford Street (tons of shops) and of course, head over to Harrod's. I tried to find Jonathan Adler's store, but had no luck.

Across the Thames river from your hotel is Plaza on the River. Their restaurant, Chino Latino, is really good (from peking duck or steak, to a burger with a fried egg). If you want a night out, head to Ronnie Scott's in Soho on Firth St to hear some live music.

If you haven't been to Paris and have the time, you can take the Eurostar and be there in about 2 hours...very pleasant ride (get a seat with a table). Book early and save. Paris is awesome.
